The Caspian Energy Forum is held annually within the framework of the International Economic Forum "Caspian Dialogue" with the support and active participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Forum organizers: Council "Science and Innovations of the Caspian Sea", A.A. Trofimuk Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Oil and Gas Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, MIEP MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and L. A. Melentyev Institute of Energy Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The most important tasks of CEF,2021 are the promotion of technological innovations in the oil and gas and electric power complexes of the Caspian countries and assistance in ensuring the environmental safety of the Caspian Sea.
In the CEF,2021 program it is planned to discuss issues of expanding cooperation on the basis of the signed Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea, consideration of the experience of implementing previously signed protocols and agreements on bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the region.
Within the framework of the Forum, it is planned to hold a round table on Russian-Iranian technological cooperation in the fuel and energy complex.
In terms of events of the International Economic Forum "Caspian Dialogue 2021", official and business meetings are expected to be held with representatives of international organizations, authorities, public and private corporations, scientific institutions and the media of the Caspian countries.
Meetings of the Caspian Energy Forum,2021 will be held in face-to-face and remote formats.
